“I am excited to have joined the Deanbuilds team and am eager to get started on the challenging new projects we have lined up,” said Rankin.
Some of Rankin’s most notable construction projects include the University of Louisville’s Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club and Denny Crum Hall, Stanford University’s Escondido Village Graduate Residences, Stanford’s “Home of Champions” project, the Mercedes Benz Research & Development North America headquarters, and the first Everhome Suites hotel in Corona, CA.
“(Shawn) Rankin comes to us with a lot of experience and background in the industry,” said Blanton Coates, Director of Business Development at Deanbuilds. “His attention to client and team relationships, internal processes, and business leadership make him a welcomed addition to the Deanbuilds team.”
Rankin attended the University of Kentucky and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering with an Environmental Engineering focus, as well as a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Construction Management focus. He has put these degrees to good use at companies based in Lexington, Louisville, and Palo Alto, CA.
When he is not working on his next big project, Rankin enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, volunteering, and attending Southeast Christian Church in Crestwood, Kentucky.
