Dean Elected 2013 President of AGC of Kentucky

Lexington, KY- David Dean, owner of Dean Builds, Inc., has been named the 2013 President of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Kentucky. He was inducted at the annual meeting of the association on Friday, November 16 in Louisville.

Dean said, “I am honored to continue the leadership of such a historic and established organization. The AGC of Kentucky is fortunate to have a Board of Directors that is extremely engaged. We will continue to help our members grow and prosper, and retain our position as the voice of the construction industry in Kentucky.”

Established in 1919, the Association of General Contractors (AGC) of Kentucky is affiliated with the Associated General Contractors of America, the largest and oldest national construction trade association. Headquartered in Frankfort, the AGC of Kentucky represents a qualified membership of over 700 prime contractors and industry associates involved in construction projects across Kentucky.

Dean Builds, Inc., founded in 2002, is a commercial and industrial construction company that works as construction manager, general contractor and/or design builder. David Dean, President, is a 1995 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where received a degree in Construction Management. He began his career in construction at Gray Construction where he was the Vice President of the Southeast Region. He resides in Winchester, Kentucky.
